Clay Sculpting & Live Air Plants

There is nothing more relaxing than having your hands in clay! Get your hands dirty with your team in this fun and easy 'planty' project, and create stunning decor for your home or office.

In this event, guests will be sculpting their own design using a special air dry clay- that's right, no heat required! Through guided instruction from our Creator and Maker, Julie Bedard, sculpt your project of choice, let dry, then finish with plants, paint, hanging, etc.

Learn simple clay sculpting techniques to create your project, while Julie encourages you to get creative with shapes and textures, or to go completely rogue and make something entirely from your imagination. During the workshop, attendees will receive tips for maintaining and caring for their plants, as well as some fun facts and air plant information.

Each clay kit comes with approximately 1 pound of non-toxic air dry clay, air plant(s), care instructions for the air plants, plus all supplies for completing the finished project.

(The clay takes approximately 48-72 hours to fully dry, so a part two guided tutorial video will be shared for participants to finish the project once the clay has dried.)

- 1 pound (approximately) of non-toxic terracotta air dry clay
- 4 individual air plants
- Sponge
- Cotton cord
- Circle cutting tool
- Wooden ring
- Care instructions for the air plants

Includes US shipping via USPS priority. We can only ship plants within the continental U.S. (not including Hawaii) due to Customs restrictions on the shipping of live plants.

For guests in Hawaii that cannot receive live plants, we can either 1) offer the kit without plants at a discount, and make recommendations where to pick up plants locally, or 2) we can send faux plants with their kit.

Guests should have a bowl or cup of water, a non-porous working surface, and paper towels or napkins handy for any unexpected messes.
