Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku is a Japanese wellness practice. Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath”. So shinrin-yoku means bathing in the forest atmosphere, or taking in the forest through our senses.
To enhance the community feel, our virtual adaptation can be upgraded to a co-created experience. Participants are invited to contribute video footage (from their phone) captured at their favorite nature spot pre-event. Our team will weave this footage together into a beautiful backdrop to the live meditation facilitation. Alternatively, we provide our own video compilation.
