Small plate dining is creative and colorful, with a wow factor of flavor in each diminutive bite. In this class, we’ll make several tapas-style small plate dishes into a delightful meal, and you’ll experience what everyone loves about small plate dining: it’s festive, sociable, and a fun way to eat and enjoy a variety of tastes.
When you arrive, I will provide you with a chef-prepared appetizer. Then we get into the kitchen to create small plate dishes together. Your team gets to enjoy the meal they cooked at a private dining experience, finished off with a chef-prepared dessert.
You are welcome to bring your alcoholic beverages. Aprons are provided during the class. I can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan diets. It's important to me for everyone to have a very inclusive experience.

This is an in-person event. A link will be provided in your confirmation email with details on where to go & all your event details.
Small groups (12 and under) can join me in my chef's kitchen in Berkeley, CA. Ample parking, and a mile from the Ashby BART station.
Host is vaccinated and boosted. Kitchen and dining room are thoroughly cleaned between events. All participants must take an at home COVID test (negative result) the morning of the event.

This was such a fun event! Being in Tracy’s home was the perfect setting for a team event. she has a huge kitchen looking out the beautiful backyard. We got to pick our herbs in the backyard and cook with them and learn lots of techniques (like how to cut an onion to not cry!). I would definitely do it again!

I really enjoyed our cooking experience with Chef Traci! Our team worked in 4 groups (2 persons each) and made 4 delicious dishes. It took us about 2 hours to cook and eat. We made a beautiful Galette. It was my first time cooking a Galette. Chef Traci is a great teacher! I learned, had fun, and will happily do it again.
