What you'll do
Learn about Japanese culture and art. We will teach you how to prepare Matcha tea in the Japanese style and paint a real Katsushika Hokusai (a world-famous Japanese painter and printmaker) painting, guided by a host and a professional artist.
Please let us know if we need to record the event. Recordings are available only upon request.

DETAILS:
Prepare Matcha tea and paint a Hokusai painting, guided by a host and a professional artist. (15 minutes of Matcha tea making and 60 minutes of painting).

Delivery information
US delivery is included in the price.
International guests can receive the art kit only, and each kit will cost an estimated additional $12 -$60 in shipping. Please leave at least 21 days lead time to ship international kits.
How to join
This is a virtual event.
A Zoom link is provided by default in your confirmation email, but you can use other video conferencing software if you prefer.

- Two plastic cups or containers with water to clean your brushes

Great team event! It was fun to learn about Hokusai and some of the history of Matcha. I would definitely recommend the event.

My group loved this event! The event hosts had a great attitude and spirit for this event, which had quite a few moving parts. Charu made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We learned a lot of wonderful facts about Hokusai and matcha tea. Overall, one of our favorite events!
