The session requires no yoga mats, special exercise clothing, sense of humor, and very limited physical ability. All that is needed is a willingness to laugh, have fun and feel great!
Laughter Yoga is a unique concept in which practically anyone can laugh on purpose without needing jokes, humor, or comedy. The concept is based on scientific evidence that both genuine and self-simulated bring about health benefits. In Laughter Yoga sessions, laughter is simulated as group exercise. What initially begins as just going through the motions of laughter quickly becomes genuine and contagious as playful laughter exercises are shared in a group. The practice is called Laughter Yoga because it combines intentional laughter and deep breathing exercises. The practice was established in 1995 by a medical doctor and is now practiced in over 100 countries all over the world.

I wasn't really sure what to expect having never done "Laugh Yoga" before but it was fun and I'd like to try it again. ツ
Celeste explained how laughter is the best medicine and then got us on our feet laughing. I feel so much better now after doing the laughing yoga exercises – it was a lot of fun. I had a smile on my face all day and I'm still laughing thinking about how great that presentation was!
