The Great Midtown Scavenger Hunt

Work in teams to solve puzzles, find hidden objects, and take creative photos of your team. In this NYC Midtown Scavenger Hunt, players will be racing to complete challenges, find unique locations, and even find an actor hidden in plain sight.

Discover the art heist that happened at a bar, find a hidden envelope under a table in Bryant Park, scan a lost kitten poster to find a hidden clue, take a group selfie with the other lion statues, find a secret agent sitting in a café to whisper a codeword to them for a bonus clue. Look at Midtown and your teammates in a whole new way!

Run of show:
-Our expert hosts gathers the group together to warm up with an icebreaker and explain game rules
-We divide the group into teams of 6-12 players to compete against each other
-Each team gets a scavenger hunt packet with puzzles, clues, a playbox map, props, and more
-Teams huddle up to strategically plan their courses
-Teams race around taking creative team photos and checking off as many clues as possible before time runs out
-At the end of the game, we gather back together to announce the winning team(s) and outstanding submissions.

Scavenger hunts are a great team building and team bonding activity. Our games are designed by an MIT- and Stanford-educated neurobiologist with extensive experience in corporate team building. The challenges test the group’s communication, collaboration and consensus-building skills, and are always a fun adventure. Teams strategically plan their route, solve problems and puzzles, and submit innovative challenge photos and videos.

We’ve hosted over a thousand team-building events for hundreds of companies including Google, Capital One, Columbia University, Atlassian, and our scavenger hunts have been covered in CNN, ABC, and the SF Chronicle.

This is an in-person event at your location. Your host will travel to your location and set everything up.

Bring a fully charged cell phone and your walking shoes, and make sure to have sunscreen and plenty of water as well. We’ll provide the rest.

All our facilitators are fully vaccinated. Most of this event will be held outdoors in small groups. Game facilitators can wear masks upon request.
