This is a 2 1/2 hour cooking & private dining experience, including chef-prepared appetizers and dessert.
Discover the art of cooking traditional Moroccan food in a tagine. The tagine, an earthenware pot with a conical lid, is at the heart of classic Moroccan cooking. Chef Traci will guide you with hands-on instruction to cook Chicken Tagine. Everyone gets to make their own jar of Ras El Hanout (Moroccan spice blend) to take home. Includes chef-prepared appetizers and dessert.
Recipes are accessible for all cooking levels.
When you arrive, I will provide you with a chef-prepared appetizer. Then we get into the kitchen to discover the art of Moroccan cooking together. Team gets to enjoy the meal they cooked at a private dining experience, finished off with chef-prepared dessert.
You are welcome to bring your alcoholic beverages. Aprons are provided during the class. I can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan diet. It's important to me for everyone to have a very inclusive experience.

This is an in-person event. A link will be provided in your confirmation email with details on where to go & all your event details.
Small groups can join me in my chef's kitchen in Berkeley, CA. Larger groups can be hosted in a beautiful venue in West Oakland, CA.
A positive attitude. Ready to have fun & learn.
Host is vaccinated and boosted. Kitchen and dining room are thoroughly cleaned between events. All participants must take an at home COVID test (negative result) the morning of the event.

Chef Traci was awesome! We hired her for a private in-person cooking class for our executive team.We learned how to cook chicken tagine braised with tomatoes & onions and topped with an apricot glaze, (vegetarian option too). And, we got to make our own spice blend to take home. She had amazing appetizers and dessert prepared for us and filled the space with her warmth and love for what she does. The food we cooked was delicious, but the best part was working with Chef Traci. She's fun, professional, was flexible and dependable. We all had an amazing time and are still talking about our evening with together with her! I highly recommend Chef Traci!
