An immersive true-crime murder mystery like no other!
River Crossing, Carolina, our fictionalized community somewhere deep in the American South, is the backdrop to our new adventure! This is a three-cop town. Here the population is tiny. Mostly made up of upper-class landowners and lower-middle-class farmers and their families. All the inhabitants in River Crossing can trace their roots back to this land for hundreds of years. This is a place lost in time, and last Friday night, between 9:45 pm - 10 pm, the most influential person in town was murdered.
As usual with our work, our audiences ALWAYS play a role. Here, you will play an investigative journalist from the Fayetteville Observer. Your job will be to interrogate the townspeople, peel back the layers, and discover what really happened last Friday night, as you and your team look for the best story to write about the murder of Ursula Fitzroy.
Enjoy our grounded, hilarious, and furiously compelling show. Drawn from the twin worlds of true-crime murder mysteries and unsolved historical cases, real events serve as inspiration for our reinvention of the typical interactive Murder Mystery Theater game.
Get to be a part of a unique experience that goes beyond team-building. With our interactive actors, you and your team become the center of the action, and get to truly inhabit the worlds we create.

This is a virtual event.
A Zoom link is provided by default in your confirmation email, but you can use other video conferencing software if you prefer.
As part of our engagement, please:
- Use your laptop or a desktop computer (we recommend this strongly).
- Have paper & writing paraphernalia handy. There will be quite a few witnesses to interrogate. Feel free to use your computer to take notes - there's just something about real handwriting that gets my goose!
- Dress in some Southern-style. The witnesses will trust you more if you look local - even though we know you’re not. If you were a local, we’d know you! For Southern fashion ideas - think comfortable, loose, and sultry. If you're the bold type, wear a fabulous hat!
- Pour yourself a southern-inspired cocktail or mocktail.
Zoom happy hours can feel like "more of the same" sometimes. This was anything but that. All actors were fantastic – it was a great story line that was super engaging for everyone. Full of laughs and nice team building to try and solve the crime with limited time windows to speak with the witnesses. I can't express how great the actors were in character.
Truly amazing. honestly, one of the coolest things we've done virtually.
Their new show is nothing short of AMAZING! We had a group of 50 colleagues from across the country come together on Zoom, and people are still talking about it weeks later!
