What you'll do

Enjoy making a traditional Turkish mosaic lamp to light up your room. Create an everlasting gift for your loved ones with your own creative design. No experience or prior knowledge required.

You will learn the techniques of a 500-year ancient craft and practice while assembling Islamic geometric patterns, as well as historic techniques for laying the tiles (tesserae). Using your selected geometric template, you will be guided to create your very own traditional Turkish Mosaic!

You have the freedom to create your masterpiece based on a classic design (as pictured) or create your own design.

Leave your worries behind, and relax while creating your own Turkish Mosaic art!

This event is hosted in-person but we do offer kit shipments for your remote guests, please see delivery details below.

- Mosaic glass beads (dark blue, light blue, yellow, orange, clear, brown)
- Empty glass globe
- Template paper

Delivery information

For guests joining remotely:
US shipping via priority mail is included. For international guests, we can ship mosaic lamp kits for an additional $80/kit in shipping. Please leave three weeks lead time for international shipping.

How to join

This is an in-person event. A link will be provided in your confirmation email with details on where to go & all your event details. Your host can also travel to your location and set everything up.

Location

I will host at my facility. I can also travel to guests' location. Open to travel within 50 miles of Mountain View for $200.

If I am traveling for the class, I will need water and a disposable cloth, otherwise everything will be provided on site.

Grace period: free cancellation within 24 hours of booking deposit or confirmation (Unless booked within 24 hours of the event start time). After that, cancel at least 7 days prior to the event to receive a full refund (minus service fee).
