Virtual Ramen Class + Sake/Tea Tasting

Preparing your own fresh bowl of ramen at home!

Keep calm and noodle on! Even though we’re sheltering-in-place, you can still enjoy fresh ramen noodles. Our ramen noodles are handmade from scratch daily in our Mission kitchen. Our broth is also made fresh, taking about 10-12 hours for tonkotsu pork bone broth and about three hours for our vegetarian broth.

We’ll prepare all the ingredients for you, including the broth, tare, spicy seasoning, toppings and hand-made noodles. We will discuss the components that go into a bowl of ramen, techniques for making the broths, and demonstrate how the noodles are made from our kitchen. You will then learn how to properly cook your noodles and assemble your heavenly bowl of ramen.

Sake tasting: during the middle of the class, we will introduce four sakes to you (sake is included with your delivery meal kit). Disclaimer: guests must be age 21 or over.

FAQ:

Can I order additional (complete) kits for family?
Just register for each person.

Can I add a second ramen only kit to my guests' order? If ramen only, let us know after booking how many to add, for $45 per person.

Can I get gluten-free noodles instead of regular?
Yes, it will be $10 extra per kit.

Instead of a finished noodle, can we get a noodle dough and the team will roll as part of the class?
Yes, at no extra charge. But we do not provide gluten-free noodle dough.

What if some team members do not drink?
No problem. We can replace sake with tea tasting.

Can you ship anywhere within the US?
Yes. However, we are not allowed to ship alcohol to UT, MS, AL, OK and DE. We can replace sake with tea tasting for those team members.

As we're shipping perishable food and with alcohol, we ONLY deliver to residential address locations. We cannot deliver to a PO Box, UPS Store, or business address.

This event ships within the US and Canada, only. Shipping cost is included for US addresses within the continental 48 states. Shipping to HI, AK, and Canada will be an additional $40 per kit. Gluten-free noodles will be an additional $10/kit.

We use special perishable-food-safe foam packaging & dry ice packs for shipping outside of the Bay Area. The size of the shipping box is: 12” x 11” x 10”.

We can ship sake to US residents aged 21 or older, except those living in the following states: AL, UT, KY, DE, RI and MI, who can receive tea only. International guests can only receive the tea tasting, no alcohol.
