Space Defenders is a collaborative, puzzle-based escape game. Teams must communicate and rely on each other to solve puzzles and share clues. It's more than fun: it builds communication skills.

You'll play in both smaller teams of "Space Crews" and as a whole group. Small teams must overcome challenges together while strategizing and collaborating with the entire large group. Each player will actively use their computer to explore planets, maneuver objects, and solve puzzles.

Your Mission:
As part of an elite group of Space Defenders, your team uses ancient power crystals to keep the universe safe. However, an alien criminal calling herself Kryota stole these crystals and scattered them across a dozen planets. Now your crew must adventure into a myriad of terrains, uncover secrets, and reclaim these crystals to save the universe.

Chef Mike will lead your class through the Chocolate Tempering process where you will make over a pound of chocolate candies.

Your experience begins by making two jumbo peanut butter cups.  Next, you will learn how to make caramel pecan turtles and almond bear paws. You'll finish off your class with dipped Oreos and strawberries.  

We can accommodate dietary restrictions:
1) Vegan - We will substitute our caramel for coconut caramel and we will leave the dairy out of our PB Filling. We always use Dark Chocolate with all classes.
2) Dairy Free - Same as Vegan.
3) Nut Allergies - We will substitute different nuts depending on the allergy or omit all together if they are allergic to all.
4) Gluten Free - The only gluten is the oreos and we have gluten-free oreos we can include.

Virtual Chocolate Candy Making Class

Celebrate AAPI Heritage month this year by making THE unofficial national dish of the Philippines, Chicken Adobo.

This sung hero is praised in many Filipino households, with many who claim their family recipe is the best. Salty, sour, and sometimes sweet, this dish has taken many forms throughout generations.

In this version of adobo, we journey to the Bicol area of the Philippines, whose region is iconic for the use of coconut milk and chili. Although a fairly simple mix of soy sauce and vinegar will do the job, we’re excited to showcase the Filipino-owned brand, Fila Manila. Fila Manila’s Adobo sauce has the perfect balance of sweet and salty notes and the touch of sweet using date nectar. AAPI All-Star Dish: Filipino Chicken Adobo

Preparing your own fresh bowl of ramen at home!

Keep calm and noodle on! Even though we’re sheltering-in-place, you can still enjoy fresh ramen noodles. Our ramen noodles are handmade from scratch daily in our Mission kitchen. Our broth is also made fresh, taking about 10-12 hours for tonkotsu pork bone broth and about three hours for our vegetarian broth.

We’ll prepare all the ingredients for you, including the broth, tare, spicy seasoning, toppings and hand-made noodles. We will discuss the components that go into a bowl of ramen, techniques for making the broths, and demonstrate how the noodles are made from our kitchen. You will then learn how to properly cook your noodles and assemble your heavenly bowl of ramen.

Sake tasting: during the middle of the class, we will introduce four sakes to you (sake is included with your delivery meal kit). Disclaimer: guests must be age 21 or over.

What if some team members do not drink?
No problem. We can replace sake with tea tasting.

Can you ship anywhere within the US?

Escape the Zoom is a customizable puzzle game where teams might have to call a phone number, that leads them to a website, that leads them to an Instagram post that leads them to an email address....

In this game, your team plays a team of detectives who have been hired by a client who was kidnapped and locked inside a room. The client (your host) has some information and locked boxes and you must tell them how to escape from the room.

Teamwork, communication and creative problem solving are required.

We can customize the game to your company: using your logo, your product, or your company’s values.

Players are split into teams of 5-10 players to compete for the best times. During the event, your host will split the group up into teams to work with individual team facilitators.

Thai Tea Boba & Chicken Satay

We'll be doing a Side-by-Side Tasting of five fresh-roasted coffees from around the world.

The participants will be led through a side-by-side tasting of the coffees, similar to how professionals taste and evaluate coffees ("cupping").

Your host for the event will be James McCarthy, Coffee Educator. James McCarthy has just short of two decades of professional experience in specialty coffee, ranging from barista to manager to roaster, as well as being the 2013 World Brewers Cup Champion. He has a strong passion for coffee education and firmly believes that coffee can be accessible. He uses his years of experience to deliver information in a fun, approachable way.

Hawaiian Fried Chicken

Join us on Zoom for a virtual ’Bring your kids to work day’ and meet a variety of rescued farm animals. We’ll start with our pig group, where we’ll teach you how to make easy toys for animals out of recycled materials, and tell you how you can make a version of this at home for your own animals. Once the pigs are done enjoying their treats, we’ll head on over to several other pastures to meet cows, goats, sheep, and more! You’ll love meeting our animal ambassadors and hearing their stories of resilience.

You are cordially invited to Patchwork Detective Agency’s Cocktail Party! This is sure to be a great night, including icebreakers, mingling, general revelry… and a devious murder! It's up to your group to work together to interrogate suspects, solve puzzles, and find clues to identify the criminal before they can strike again.

This game is hosted by a team of five trained performers who will guide the players throughout the evening - if you can trust a thing they say...

If you'd rather have one of your team members (we suggest the team manager) play Detective X (the person who was murdered), we can send them a script, a set-design kit, and work with them on the acting. After booking, you as the organizer can let us know who will be Detective X, and everything will be sent to that participant before the game. Rehearsal will be 10-20 min before their game (you can schedule the rehearsal for a time that works for Detective X).

This interactive virtual event includes a variety of word challenges, played in a series of rounds. In each round, team members work together in breakout rooms as they race to solve the word puzzles as quickly as possible.

Players will be challenged by a variety of word-based games including some of the following: Wordle, Boggle, Mini Crossword Puzzle, Spelling Bee, Rebus, Word Searches...!

Teams earn points throughout the event based on the speed in which they solve each puzzle. The faster your team completes the challenges, the more points your team earns!

Tinga is a Pueblan dish known for its smokiness and flavor! Start with chicken (or pork) and braise this in a mix of tomatoes, onions, and chipotle peppers. Traditionally served on tostadas, you can opt for corn tortillas as well!

In this Mexican Tacos class, we cover a variety of cooking techniques ranging from slicing and dicing to quick braising (oxymoronic, we know!), pickling, and creating dynamic sauces. You’ll be shocked by how a few simple components can result in so much flavor!

Here is how it works:

Select a cocktail (or two, or three...) from our seasonally updated and health-minded menu, and we will ship the essential ingredients to each member of your team (wait until the day of your event to open!). One of our friendly and highly skilled mixologists will host the event, guiding your team through the construction of each unique drink. Getting your hands ‘dirty’ with your eyes on the prize, you’ll be whisked through a healthy measure of history, theory, and bar tips. Expect splashes of trivia and dashes of humor along the way.

In only a few minutes, you’ll be toasting and sipping a healthy homemade cocktail with friends/co-workers from the comfort of your own home kitchen. An invaluable set of tried-and-true tricks, techniques, and trade secrets are now yours to enjoy for a lifetime!

With the pace and fun of a classic trivia game, we add a twist: instead of random facts trivia, this game is all about getting to know your colleagues better in a fun and memorable way.

Team Trivia: Get to Know Your Team!

In this event, guests will be designing, painting and sealing high quality ceramic pieces using premium paint and brushes, then topping them with a live air plant for a long-lasting piece of home or office plant decor.

Create fun, simple and modern painted ceramics with easy to follow steps through a live guided demonstration by host, Creator and Maker, Julie. We’ll start with introductions and any announcements from the organizers, then jump right into the design of the piece we’re making. We’ll cover paint mixing and application, sealing the project, and some general air plant info and care.

A succulent specialist will walk you through the steps on creating an arrangement and share tips on how to help your plants thrive. Our zooms typically last up to an hour and are structured as follows:
The host can make necessary introductions for the first 5-15 minutes of the zoom. Once they have greeted their guest, they can turn the attention over to us to start our planting instructional. We give a quick intro to our company and then roll into a step-by-step planting instructional. Once we are done planting, we get our pots cleaned up and decorated and then wrap up with care info and a Q&A.

At this event, your team will be rolling out and cutting udon noodles from scratch. Then, everyone will assemble the udon with the broth, noodles, and toppings.

What makes udon making fun is that it is not just a hands-on experience; but a feet-on experience as well! It requires each participant to stomp on the dough in a zip lock bag (also provided with the kit).

Virtual Painting Workshop + Premium Art Kit Shipping

There is nothing more relaxing than having your hands in clay! Get your hands dirty with your team in this fun and easy 'planty' project, and create a stunning hanging for your home or office.

In this event, guests will be creating their own air plant hanging out of clay using a special air dry terra cotta clay- that's right, no heat required! Through guided instruction from our Creator and Maker, Julie Bedard, sculpt four plant pots out of clay using a 'pinch pot' technique that anyone can easily and quickly master.

You'll start by dividing the clay into four pieces, rolling the pieces into a ball shape, then pinching away to create a simple cup shape perfectly sized to hold an air plant. Julie will encourage you to get creative with your pots to create textures and individual shapes, or to go completely rogue and make something entirely from your imagination. During the workshop, attendees will receive tips for maintaining and caring for their plants, as well as some general air plant information.

Each clay kit comes with approximately 1 pound of non-toxic terra cotta air dry clay, 4 individual air plants, a sponge for smoothing the clay, cotton cord to string the cups once dry, a circle cutting tool to make a hole for the strings, a wooden ring to hang it from, and care instructions for the air plants.

(The clay takes approximately 72 hours to fully dry, so a part 2 'how to hang your pots' guided tutorial video will be shared for participants to finish the project once the pots have dried.)

Ghosts of Craven Manor

Preparing your own gyoza at home!

Keep calm and gyoza on! Even though we’re sheltering-in-place, you can still enjoy fresh gyoza.

We’ll prepare the ingredients for you including the gyoza filling and gyoza dough. While you’re at home, you can follow us in a virtual session to practice how to roll the dough into thin sheets, learn techniques in wrapping gyoza dumpling and cook the dumplings in a pan. In our online session, we’ll also demonstrate how we prepare the dough and fillings. Expect to have about 14-18 dumplings per serving, depending on how thin you roll the dough out. You get to roll out the dough, add the filling, wrap them and then cook them with us guiding you through virtually.

Using 100% safe indoor spray paint and our veteran graffiti instructors providing guidance over video conference, you and your team will have a fully immersive experience learning about the art form and making your own inspired creation from anywhere. Guests will launch their spray paint and graffiti markers skills and also create their own graffiti name and signature tag on classic provided stickers. Murder in La La Land

I am a self-taught, multi-media artist with a passion for teaching and meeting new people! I absolutely love making art and showing others how fun and easy it can be! One of my favorite things to do is Origami and I have been teaching this very unique and beautiful art form to folks of all ages for the past 10 + years. It is a perfect team-building activity which builds confidence and discovery in a fun and supportive environment. Origami offers something for everyone and with me as your guide it will be sure to be fun and fabulous!

Origami brings with it a rich history of artists, makers, and dreamers. In my class, I customize the model/s to fit the theme of the event. Origami is a magical and wondrous art form, as well as challenging and perplexing at times... just like life itself. The fact that you start with a single piece of paper and end up with something much different is what makes Origami one of the coolest and most unique experiences.

At the start of the class, I will give a brief overview of the proposed model by explaining some of the basic folds which will be used in the paper folding process.

The class is taught using a two-camera set-up with one view of the project in a “flat lay” view of my hands and the other view of me via webcam to allow for a more personal class experience.

During the entirety of the class, participants will be guided step-by-step through the folding process from start to finish.

Origami: Magic With Paper

This 90-minute baking class requires no baking experience! Recipes are accessible for all cooking levels.

As a group, you can choose from three menus:
1) Apple Galette with Baking Kit
2) Apple Galette with Ingredient List
3) Savory Vegetable & Cheese Galette with Ingredient List

Your baking kit includes all ingredients, plus a silicone pastry mat & rolling pin to help you create a beautifully crafted galette. Participants can choose either the “Classic” or “Gluten-Free” Baking Kit — either option is vegan.

Galette Baking Class

At the start of the event our professional MC’s and facilitators use Zoom Breakout Rooms to get you into teams, as each team competes for the most points in each round, before we ultimately crown the Winning Team!

Everyone uses their phones to draw their answers to 5-6 customizable questions like "What superpower have you developed over the pandemic?" that encourage reflection, gratitude and joy.

Each doodle serves as a springboard for stories and a way of expressing thoughts and ideas that can be hard with words alone.

And after the experience, you'll receive a custom graphic featuring all of your amazing artwork to memorialize the experience!

NOTE: This event is especially for people who "suck at art" and "aren't creative". It's deliberately simple for everyone to participate.

Our host will connect with you before the event to discuss your objectives and confirm the questions we'll ask. We can keep it light, dive deep into important issues, or somewhere in between. During the experience, your host will advance through the preset questions, encouraging participants to describe their drawings, tell stories and share ideas.

Drawing Your Team Together

Loosely based on Shackleton’s legendary expedition in 1914 this immersive and visually stunning experience offers a unique opportunity to engage in a collaborative quest for survival from the comfort and safety of your home or office.

Expect your group to curse, laugh, and scratch their heads as they collaborate; navigate a mix of physical and intellectual challenges; improvise creatively, and tackle unexpected plot twists head-on.

This event includes 45 mins game time + 15 mins optional debrief session (lessons learned, critical reflection, etc).

Your group will be hosted by 2+ members of our team, one in costume playing Captain Shackleton and the other in a tech support role. Depending on your group size, you’ll be a single team (less than 10 people) or multiple teams competing against each other (we usually aim to have 5-8 people in each breakout room).

Your colleagues will collaborate on a series of challenges, initially as a whole group (ice breaker and challenge 1) and then split into multiple teams (challenges 2&3) before coming back together into a single group for the final moments, in this way, we're able to connect the group at multiple levels throughout the game.

Shackleton's Great Escape From Antarctica - A Virtual Team Building Challenge

Get ready for fast-paced shenanigans with our virtual version of Minute to Win It! Teams will compete in a variety of challenges designed to test your speed, dexterity, agility and your overall ability to complete inane and ridiculous tasks! Fling cards into a mixing bowl - why not? Roll Oreos down your face - sure! Create a self-standing tower out of household items - you were BORN for this!!

Some games require entire teams working together, while others have one person battling to represent their teammates! Regardless of the number of people involved, each Minute To Win It game is designed to be hilarious to watch and fun to PLAY!

At the end of each challenge, teams are ranked and awarded points based on how quickly, or how well, they complete the challenge. After all the challenges are complete, points from each event are tallied up and the team with the highest score is crowned Minute To Win It Champions!

In this one-hour guided tasting experience, we’ll explore the wine region through the wines of the boutique producer of your choice.

This is a structured, educational (and fun!) class where Brianne gives attendees step-by-step instructions to make them a better wine taster. We’ll walk through: looking, smelling, tasting, and then drawing conclusions about the wine. 

Attendees receive a small-format tasting set of wine (4-5 wines, 2 oz each), as well as a tasting sheet and tasting mat. There will be time for Q&A throughout the class. Brianne’s goal is to help you drink better and up your wine game!

- Chehalem: an innovation and sustainability-focused producer in the Willamette Valley. 
- Stoller: one of the largest and most sustainable vineyards in the Willamette Valley. 
- Madrigal Family Winery: a Mexican-American owned winery in Napa making big, bold New World wines. 
- Spirit Horse Vineyards: a female owned winery based in Napa Valley. 

Non-alcoholic alternatives include: a full-size bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling, non-alcoholic shrub-like concentrates to mix with still or sparkling water, or an assortment of non-alcoholic juices and sodas.

Pasta and Poetry Reading - the perfect event to celebrate Women's History Month!

Join us for a unique collaborative experience hosted by Evento and WriteGirl (see their amazing mission statement below). Enjoy a session of traditional Gongfu Tea brewing with a guided mindful tea meditation. You will learn to view tea as a celebration of the abundance of the Earth with each loving sip.

Gongfu Tea is a centuries-old method of making tea, from the Ming Dynasty of China, that uses multiple smaller infusions of a tea using a gaiwan or teapot, a fairness cup, and small “three sip” cups. 

This style allows you to fully control the “life” of a tea, to adjust the taste according to your preferences, and most importantly — to reveal the full potential of the plant and characteristics of the terroir.

River Crossing, Carolina, our fictionalized community somewhere deep in the American South, is the backdrop to our new adventure! This is a three-cop town. Here the population is tiny. Mostly made up of upper-class landowners and lower-middle-class farmers and their families. All the inhabitants in River Crossing can trace their roots back to this land for hundreds of years. This is a place lost in time, and last Friday night, between 9:45 pm - 10 pm, the most influential person in town was murdered.

YOUR ROLE:

As usual with our work, our audiences ALWAYS play a role. Here, you will play an investigative journalist from the Fayetteville Observer. Your job will be to interrogate the townspeople, peel back the layers, and discover what really happened last Friday night, as you and your team look for the best story to write about the murder of Ursula Fitzroy.

Enjoy our grounded, hilarious, and furiously compelling show. Drawn from the twin worlds of true-crime murder mysteries and unsolved historical cases, real events serve as inspiration for our reinvention of the typical interactive Murder Mystery Theater game.

Stuart is known in magic circles as a master of his craft. He's booked all over the world to entertain with his unique style.

His latest creation is Richard Preston, the world's greatest magician frozen in time. Richard is a character that's charming and a bit of a fish out of water because he was cryogenically frozen in 1962. He was unthawed to bring the world back together through magic and first class entertainment. The entire setting is vintage mid century modern and the broadcast studio is 3 cameras, fabulous sound and integrated video from Richard's past TV specials in the 60's. There is no other show like it out there and it's a show you will be talking about for some time.

Lila will demo how to make pesto, and your guests can follow along if they'd like, with ingredients they've sourced from a shopping list. (see "What to Bring")

3) Sauerkraut - Participants will learn hands-on how to make sauerkraut with ingredients they have sourced from a shopping list. (see "What to Bring")

Zero Waste Kitchen Hacks

A mysterious billionaire recently died. He had no heirs and didn’t want to give his money away. So he designed a series of tests: puzzles and challenges to see who was worthy…

Mr. Douglas’s Treasure is a two hour long team-building game designed to be played by 7-10 players on videochat. Each player is shipped a package of puzzles, props and clues and must work together to solve the mystery of where Mr. Douglas hid his treasure.

The game is hosted by an in-game actor who will set the scene, give team hints, and also lead a facilitated discussion after the game on the team’s communication and teamwork.

Players are assigned an in-game character based on a survey. Possible characters include Forensic Scientist, Detective, Housekeeper, Mystic, and CEO. Each player is shipped a packages of customized props, puzzles and clues.

We can host up to 200 players in teams of 7-10. Each team will work with an actor/facilitator on the puzzles and clues.

Welcome all to the city of Faircliff, where nothing is fair and everyone’s in on it.

Detective Montana Bailey has caught wind of a plot to kill the town's new mayoral candidate and has identified four potential suspects. Work together and compete against other teams to crack the case in this theatrically-immersive Noir Murder Mystery.

Interact with suspects played by live performers, expose the murder plots, and catch the killers. Channel your inner sleuth and come wearing your classiest 1920s-themed duds: you're Faircliff's last chance at a fresh start!

Detective Montana Bailey briefs participants on the case and then divides them into investigation teams. In breakout rooms, they question each suspect, gain their trust, and piece together the clues. After interrogating all the suspects, each team presents their findings, and the final murder plot is uncovered.

Noir Murder Mystery: The Faircliff Files

In this 30-minute class, participants will learn how to brew a quick cup of coffee using the simple and barista-approved Aeropress brewer. Perfect for a short meeting, or a breakout activity during a conference or long meeting!

The participants will be guided through brewing coffee using the Aeropress by 2013 World Coffee Brewers Cup Champion James McCarthy. They’ll receive tips for making the best cup of coffee at home, as well as learn about the five coffees in their Coffee Explorer Kit.

We'll ship a medium Coffee Explorer Kit (5 coffees x 4 oz each), featuring coffees from around the world, each with distinct taste profiles, along with an Aeropress brewer. Each guest can choose between whole beans or ground (for Aeropress). P.S. We have a decaf option too!
