Poppy is a female-founded flower company on a mission to deliver quality flowers at fair prices. In 2014, while working in the drug policy office at The White House, Cameron realized she was longing for creativity in her life. She started volunteering in The White House flower shop, learning floral design from Chief Floral Designer, Laura Dowling. Cameron went all in, leaving her job to join a major floral startup as the Head of Products. In just four years, she helped them scale to become one of the largest e-commerce floral gifting companies. During this time, Cameron also managed the florals for her own wedding, causing her to realize that an antiquated supply chain made wedding flowers more expensive than they had to be. She wanted to change that, so Poppy Flowers was born.
