As a team of Asian Americans rooted in Japanese culture with backgrounds spanning many different industries, we brought together the best of what we know to create a channel that allows us to share the best of Japanese craftsmanship with you. The history, their story and what’s to come. Shouldn’t choosing sake be as easy as choosing your favorite bottle of wine? We noticed lots of people, even the savviest drinkers, have trouble when it comes to choosing sake—pacing in front of the sake shelves or blankly scanning up and down the sake list at a restaurant to no avail. We think the act of choosing sake should be easy and fun. That's why we created Takasan, a platform designed for the modern drinker.
